Dr. Nicholas BarnardDr. Nick Barnard

Dr. Nicholas Barnard grew up in the Des Moines area and joined Westown Pediatric Dentistry in 2015. He graduated magna cum laude from Drake University with his degree in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology in 2009. Dr. Nick then graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2013. While in dental school, Dr. Nick knew he wanted to continue his education and pursued his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. While in his two-year residency he provided comprehensive care for children of all ages including emergency care, conscious sedation, and treatment in the operating room under general anesthesia.

Dr. Nick has a passion for treating children with the highest care. He strives to greet every patient at Westown Pediatric Dentistry with a warm smile. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his dog name Buster, vacationing with friends, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Dr. Nick is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He currently has hospital/surgery privileges at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Lakeview Surgery Center in West Des Moines, and Dallas County Hospital in Perry.

Dr. Audra Feldhaus

Dr. Audra Feldhaus grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.  She attended the University of Kansas where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Organismal Biology in 2012.  After she finished her time as a Jayhawk she headed off to Omaha, Nebraska.  In Omaha, she completed her dental school education at Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2016.  The next step in life consisted of working as a General Dentist in Kansas City where she confirmed her passion for working with kids and pursued a position in a Pediatric dental residency.  She was accepted at the University of Nevada Las Vegas Advanced Education program for Pediatric Dentistry.  She spent two years in Las Vegas and graduated from this program in 2019.  During her two-year residency program, Dr. Audra focused on comprehensive care of all patients including special needs patients, behavior management, emergency care, treatment using nitrous oxide, treatment under conscious sedation and treatment on patients in the operating room under general anesthesia.  Dr. Audra is a member of the American Dental Association and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  When she is not focusing on dentistry Dr. Audra enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with her friends, family, and husband John.

Dr. Hilary ReynoldsDr. Hilary Reynolds

Dr. Hilary Reynolds graduated from Iowa State University in 1998 with her bachelors degree. She then went on to attend University of Iowa Dental School and graduated in 2002. She completed her pediatric dentistry certificate in 2012. Dr. Reynolds practiced as a general dentist in Burlington at the Community Health Center of Southeast Iowa for 8 years prior to returning to the University to complete her pediatric dentistry residency program. She then practiced in a private pediatric dental practice in Burlington for a year before deciding to move back to North Central Iowa. Dr. Hilary Reynolds is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Reynolds patient philosophy is to “provide patient care as I would want it provided to my own children.” In her free time she enjoys house shopping, interior decoration and design and spending time with her husband, Justin and their twin sons, Asher & Brody.
